-Yo friends!
Today I built a super cool hand crank generator — no batteries, no power banks, just straight electricity from my own energy πͺ⚙️
This is one of those rare projects that’s fun, educational, and feels like you're creating real tech π₯
π§° What I Used:
-
Small DC motor
-
LED light
-
Gears or a simple handle (I used a bottle cap)
-
Wires
-
Cardboard or plastic base
-
Glue gun
π ️ Steps I Followed:
-
Made the Handle:
-
Took a bottle cap and glued it onto the shaft of the DC motor to act as a crank.
-
-
Set Up the Base:
-
Glued the motor onto a solid base like cardboard.
-
Used tape or rubber to keep it from moving.
-
-
Wired the LED:
-
Connected LED terminals to the motor wires.
-
No battery, just the motor and LED.
-
-
Cranked It!
-
Started spinning the handle fast...
-
And BOOM — the LED lit up using only hand power! π‘⚡
-
π§ What’s Happening?
A DC motor can also act like a generator. When you spin it manually, it converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
That’s real science — no cap π
π Why You Gotta Try This:
-
No battery needed — pure hand power
-
Great for learning how motors + generators work
-
Super fun to show your friends or teachers
-
Can charge small gadgets with upgrades
π― Final Thoughts:
This project proves you don’t need fancy stuff to make real tech.
A simple hand crank generator shows off your skills AND teaches real physics.
