I tried it — and BOOM — I made a working saltwater battery that lit up an LED ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ’ก No big setup, no crazy parts. Just home science, full Gen Z engineering. ๐Ÿ”ง What I Used: Salt ๐Ÿง‚ Tap water ๐Ÿ’ง Two different metal plates (I used copper and aluminum ) Small plastic cup Wires One LED bulb ๐Ÿ› ️ How I Built It: Filled the cup with water and mixed in a bunch of salt. So I thought — why not build a solar charger and flex on the sun itself? ๐Ÿ˜Ž And BOOM — I actually made a working DIY solar phone charger using super basic parts. ๐Ÿ”ง What I Used: 6V solar panel TP4056 charging module 18650 rechargeable battery Boost converter (to get 5V for phones) A switch Some wires and a mini case (used an old box ๐Ÿ”) ⚙️ How I Assembled It: Catch the Rays — The solar panel collects sunlight and feeds it into the TP4056 module to safely charge the battery.
